One of the Ringling water trucks used on the circus as it travelled. Note the chain-driven rear wheels that gave the vehicle plenty of power to go up on and down off of the train cars, as well as carrying a full load of water. The downward-focused sprayer on the back of the unit was used to water a site before the tent went up to keep down the dust. The Clowns would follow the water truck with buckets, collecting fresh water for bathing.
